"Washlet" is the Japanese contraction for "washing toilet". They are basically electric bidets built in to toilet seats. (If I have to explain what a bidet is, you probably aren't interested in one, anyway.)This bottom-of-the-line model from Toto works great. It's easy to hook up, and easy to use. It cleans the "hopper" on your "personal garbage chute" much better than TP alone can. If you have 'roids. (Not the body-building kind.) Or, when Montezuma has loosed his revenge upon your soul (and gastro-intestinal tract), you will thank whatever it is you pray to that you have one of these to ease your pain, discomfort, and/or mess. It may seem expensive for a toilet seat. The C110 fits perfectly. The instructions (30 pages!!!) that came with the washlet are very detailed, written in good english, and easy to understand. I would say the most difficult portion of the installation process was running the wires for a dedicated GFCI protected outlet. Otherwise, everything else was a snap!The seat is easily removed for cleaning and in fact the entire washlet can be removed with the press of a button for deep cleaning as required. I'm really impressed with the amount of thought that Toto put into the ability to maintain this product. Even the water hoses feature quick disconnect fittings.
