Shop-Vac 9069800 1.25-Inch Turbo Nozzle Reviews
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful Shop-Vac 1.25 inch Turbo Nozzle, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Shop-Vac 9069800 1.25-Inch Turbo Nozzle (Tools & Home Improvement) I have had several vacuum cleaners with this type of attachment, and all were a dissapointment. The turbo nozzle, however, is 100% worth it's cost. It works as if it was belt powered(it is not) and never seems to slow down. Unlike most others, it has a port to clean the venturis if it happens to get clogged, which I'm sure eventually it will. I have only had the product a few weeks, but I'm convinced it is the best of its kind for the money. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful You won't believe how good this works, By Robert Frederick (North Little Rock, AR United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Shop-Vac 9069800 1.25-Inch Turbo Nozzle (Tools & Home Improvement) I thought this item would not be that good since it is just air powered but I could not have been more wrong. The simple design makes it very reliable and it takes quite a bit to bog it down especially when used with a large shop vac. It works good with my tiny 2 gallon vac all the way up to my big 20 gallon model. The main thing I use it for is to clean my carpeted stairs where it is a real pain to use my upright vac. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful Bogs down quite easily, there are better products, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Shop-Vac 9069800 1.25-Inch Turbo Nozzle (Tools & Home Improvement) This bogs down with any serious amount of pressure and stops working. There is no excuse for that with the air pressure generated by a 16 gallon Shop Vac. Somewhere on Amazon I read a comment that the old Windtunnel attachment from Hoover vacs worked better. I dug mine out, and the reviewer is right. It keeps on spinning when the Shop Vac attachment simply stops. That review suggested that you can buy the used Hoover attachment (or buy it new if it still manufactured). That is a better buy. Dyson also has a similar attachment for their vacs that is far superior. |
