K-Cup Brewing Process
The K-Cup brewing process allows you to make the perfect cup of gourmet coffee -- every time. No more guessing how much water or how many beans to grind, and best of all no more mess! Timothy’s ensures that coffee is sealed immediately into individual K-Cup, protected from air and light until you brew them -- all you need to do is insert your K-Cup, hit the button and allow the Keurig machine to brew your next cup of gourmet coffee.
Keurig Brewing Machine
Timothy’s K-Cups work with the Keurig brewing machines. The Keurig machines produce a single cup of gourmet coffee in 3 different pre-measured amount with a single push of a button, including a 9.25 size for travel cups. The hardest part of the whole process is deciding which flavor of coffee to have!

The coffee doesn't have any of the after taste associated with decaf. It just tastes like a smooth cup of coffee. After my colleague took her machine home, I craved another cup of that coffee. So, I bought a Keurig and began searching for the best price I could get on Timothy's Columbian Decaf. Thank you Amazon for making this 50 pack offer. The deal is even better if you "subscribe and save." 24 of 24 people found the following review helpful: Good coffee, great price, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Timothy's World Coffee, Colombian Decaffeinated Medium K-Cup Portion Pack for Keurig K-Cup Brewers (Pack of 50) (Grocery) When you have to drink decaf and you live in a small town with limited selection, you learn to not be especially picky. We love our Keurig brewer, but we were paying premium prices for K-cups at our local grocery store. We found better deals at the Keurig website, but as I'm always on the lookout for a bargain, I was thrilled to see a medium-roast decaf K-cup that I'd tried and liked, available on Amazon's Subscribe and Save. The deal is great: I'm paying less than 40 cents per cup! This decaf is smooth, mellow, not bitter, and not too dark. I would imagine that if you prefer a dark roast, you'd find this too weak--but it's perfect for my rather tame taste in coffee. I highly recommend it! 77 of 95 people found the following review helpful: made with methylene chloride for your enjoyment, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Timothy's World Coffee, Colombian Decaffeinated Medium K-Cup Portion Pack for Keurig K-Cup Brewers (Pack of 50) (Grocery) This product boldly mentions on the package that it is "Decaffeinated using methylene chloride". Read on to learn more about the process. Coffee beans are decaffeinated by softening the beans with water and using a substance to extract the caffeine. Water alone cannot be used because it strips away too much of the flavor. The water containing the caffeine (and the flavor from the beans) is treated with a solvent, heated to remove the solvent and caffeine, and then returned to the beans. The flavors in the water are reabsorbed by the beans, which are then dried. This process is referred to as "indirect decaffeination," because the beans never touch the solvent themselves. The most widely used solvent today is ethyl acetate, a substance found in many fruits. When your coffee label states that the beans are "naturally decaffeinated," it is referring to this process, specifically using ethyl acetate. Although it doesn't sound like a natural process, it can be labeled as such because the... Read more |
