My baby's room was on the other end of my house and we was getting up every two hours (or less sometimes) and it was really hard for me to keep getting up and walking all the way across the house to get him. We even tried putting him down in his Pack-n-Play and that was still really hard. It's SO great that he is right there next to me. I can just roll over and pick him up, change him right there in the bed, feed him and lay him back down without having to get out of bed in the middle of the night. I am glad I got the "mini" version of it because it takes up less space in my room, but now that he is older (8 months) he doesn't really like sleeping in it because he likes to move around a lot. We are now in a new house and his room is right across the hall from mine and he is doing really well about sleeping in his crib now. I still have it in my room for those nights that he is really fussy. He also plays in as a Pack-N-Play when... It's the perfect height for my bed. I can reach over in the middle of the night, grab my little one easily, and get her back in easily after her feeding. We had to pack it for the first time recently to stay at my parents' house. It's not the easiest thing in the world to pack up. There are more than one bags you need to take with you, but it did pack up small enough for us to travel with it easily and set up is easy. If you travel a lot, it might not be the co-sleeper for you, but it was not much of a hassle for a one time thing. It also feels sturdy, so I don't have to worry about her being okay in it. 11 of 11 people found the following review helpful: Best Baby Item to date, By Ja (Oregon) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper Mini Bassinet Convertible, Coco Natural (Baby Product) We love this co-sleeper. Granted it's a bit of work to break down. Once we get the hang of it it's no problem. We've taken it on trips that are more than one overnight. We have not used it as a play yard yet. We have The mini (not convertible) for work and the bottom storage gets a lot of use. We have advised all of our friends to buy this item when co-sleeping! |
