Long story short, we never got to attend the prom, so as a birthday surprise I recreated the prom right in my house. Needless to say that this added the winning effect. She was totally impressed and overjoyed with the experience. I also used this mutliple time since then for differnt parties and it has always impressed! I modified the motor and hardwired it to the light fixture and it has functioned numerous times with no issues. I would highly recoomen this to anyone wanting to get that good disco ball effect. I purchased some colored lenses for the pin light and those also worked like a charm. The weight of the ball itself is substatial, but that is expected being that it is made from mirrors. The motor is sufficient but I am sure their are better ones out there. I have never had any issues out of mine however. The cord on the pin light is short to say the least.
