I had lines on my TV when i hooked up my Wii to my HDTV. However, It did not fix the problem that I had. There are still lines on my TV, they are a little better but not anything to be excited over. I say if you need this cable get one that is from Nintendo. I say the only good thing was that I got it very fast!

This HDTV cable for the Wii works better than the Nintendo-branded one I bought first. A great cable at a nice low price.

With a component cable the Wii outputs a picture that is a 480-line progressive scan rather than a 480-line interlaced scan. At this "low" resolution, progressive scan makes a much better picture that an interlaced scan. It really does make a difference and it is worth getting an appropriate cable to hook up your Wii. This particular cable is well-made and perfect for the job.
