They arrived in a big box, mostly put together (thankfully). The front fender did provide a challenge for the men's bike but was not a problem for the woman's. We take them out for rides thru our downtown neighborhood, and they are the talk of the town. Comfortable to ride, with a sturdy feel and the cup holder (you gotta have one)... I will recommend without hesitation but, would also recommend a professional put it together for you. Most other cruisers come with very narrow rims that do not properly support the wide tires. Huffy uses nice wide lightweight alloy rims with 14 gage heavy duty spokes The styling is excellent as are the materials used, which is why 4 stars. Now the reason I didn't give it 5; the bearings were all overtightened and under greased. The welds on the frame were sloppy and not properly dressed down, leaving lots of sharp points and catches. Lastly, The seat is cheap and the cover was comming undone before I even used it, and the handlebars are pretty useless as they get in the way of my legs. best to replace both before riding. Perhaps the pre-piloted holes could be drilled further out and the cheap aluminum could be bent further away from the tires, but it didn't seem like a worthy effort. Plus when we removed the fenders...the back reflector was no longer there. - Handlebars turn down for me despite how hard i tighten the bolt - metal seat stem (pole) isn't quite tall enough as I would like (I'm 6'2"). OVERALL: I've had the bike for about a week, done light riding and it is fine, but the quality of the bike (Made in China) and its components are poorly made.
