These don't work very well however for my Old Town Vapor kayak. It has a funny shaped, and pretty TALL bow. The boat will fit into the hooks, but it's less than ideal and the hull weight isn't divided evenly between the hooks and the wall.For more "normal" or conventionally shaped boats these are perfect. They work great. There is no metal exposed to scratch the kayaks. It is so easy to get them out of the hooks, wheter one or two people are getting the kayaks out.
