It has great tone quality and excellent sound projection. It's also of very solid construction. I have accidentally banged it against things a few times and not a single significant ding.The original strings are not too bad either. But if you're considering playing for an audience you would do well to replace them with strings appropriate to your music style. I can't speak to the electronics on board this guitar. I have an older model with different electronics but they work quite well. But unless you are playing in a crowded room you will not need an amp. This is quite simply a great guitar. I got it almost three years ago and all I've had to do is replace the strings. I've looked at some different guitars recently but only because I want to do some recordings. I will be playing this guitar until it physically breaks which won't be anytime soon. I recommend this to anyone who wants...
