I am a serious chocoholic and I recently fell in love with zone perfect bars! So far, this has been my favorite flavor. I love to have them for breakfast because the minty-ness actually wakes me up a little more :D Also, I've been surprised by how long they keep me full; usually if I have one for breakfast at 7 am, I don't get hungry until around 12 pm or so. Awesome!

I've gone through a number of protein bars & have really disliked the aftertaste of most of them. I found the ZonePerfect bars in a local store & purchased the Chocolate Mint & the Double Dark Chocolate. Of the two, I prefer the Double Dark Chocolate; however, the Chocolate Mint, at 14g of protein, has 2 more grams of protein than the Double Dark Chocolate.
The Chocolate Mint bar has a very slight aftertaste, but the aftertaste isn't nearly as bad as some of the other protein bars on the market. Given the amount of protein packed into this pretty tasty bar, I can live with the very slight aftertaste.
The ZonePerfect bars are substantial enough so that you can get some satisfaction from eating a bar. The bars are crunchy rather than chewy, which, to me, adds to the feeling of satisfaction.

I LOVE these bars and eat so many that the subscription seemed to make sense. However, the chocolate covering is flaky and sometimes the chocolate is stuck to the wrapper - makes eating messy often. It looks like these have not been properly stored - temperature-wise. I plan to cancel the subscription after the next delivery if they don't improve as they are a few pennies cheaper at Target anyway.
