It arrived in about a week after I ordered it in perfect condition. There was a bit of a rubbery smell when I first unwrapped it, but this dissipated within 48 hours. Note that it is a dark blue color, not quite navy. I found that the mat has velcro borders on all sides so it can be easily connected to other mats with similar velcro siding. I also found that this velcro folds down, and facilitates placing the mat on carpet in such a way that it WILL NOT move, even with vigorous tumbling, plyometrics, kicking/punching/throwing training. It is large enough that I can stretch, do yoga and even do jump kicks on it and have enough space to land. I thought that the folds would cause difficulty with sliding my feet across the mat but they are so innocuous that I can actually maintain contact with the mat while advancing without catching my toes on them.
