It's not quite as simple as seen on the videos on youtube. The print quality of your printer is VERY important. I took my image to staples and had them print a copy. 3$ copy on transparency paper is still way cheaper than getting a glass or metal one made. When cutting out your gobo, wear gloves, smudges and oil collect dust which shows on the image. Try to put the gobo on something textured... the dancefloor is perfect... on a smooth perfect wall, if it has any dust or dirt on it, you see that turning on the image. I've used it once so far, and will use it again, but will still charge this as an add on... it takes a little to get the design made, printed, cut and installed...Speaking of install... use needle nose pliers and HOLD ON TIGHT... the little metal ring shot across the room more than once... That being said, it was impressive... However, I found it to be just a little dim for all the typical uses: when I pointed it at the dance floor, it vanished - on a white wall, it's very visible. The light weight is nice, too. |
