I have not yet had a chance to compare the accuracy with another monitor, however I know that about half the time I get a false 'high' reading. I am an EMT monitoring my own blood pressure and some of the false high readings are pretty scarey - until you realize they are false! Even without repositioning the monitor, re-taking another reading is much more accurate.
