The 1st one was the all nylon material and it held up very well for the better part of 2 years, with some wearing in the corners, but still very usable.I picked up his one for the leather and should do even better. As for what this will hold, it's really amazing how much you can cram into one of these things and not create the huge bulge like with other more traditional wallets. It has 4 credit card slots that you can stuff with multiple cards (each), the main bill pocket, and another pocket for receipts or even larger items. There are other "thin" wallets out there, but I've found this one to be pretty awesome. It lasted me close to ten years. Before, I had purchased the All-Ett that was made of all spinnaker cloth. My first All-ett got a small hole in the fabric (external corner) so I finally replaced it.The leather All-ett is not much thicker... the spinnaker cloth is still on the inside. The improvement I immediately noticed is that every credit card pocket has some friction material near the opening in order to hold things fast inside without stuffing the pocket tightly. This is one area where my previous All-ett became annoying as the pockets had stretched a bit and something could fall out unless the pocket was stuffed tight. I routinely load it with twenty plastic credit, rewards, and id cards as well as ten or more business cards. In addition it has two pockets, a shallow one for holding paper bills and a deep one for receipts and other papers. With all that it is still onldy about 5/8 inches thick. This is my second one. Highly recommended. |
