RIVAL BAG GLOVES HAVE A NICE LOOK,AND A SOFT FEEL. 1. THESE ARE NOT LEATHER, BUT A VINYL TYPE MATERIAL. 2. YOU WILL NEED A PARTNER TO FASTEN THE OTHER GLOVE'S VELCRO. 3. SIZE 14= HUGE! THESE ARE 14 OUNCE GLOVES. IF YOU WEAR VELCRO GEL WRAPS, THEN THESE WOULD BE FINE FOR A 200 POUND PLUS FIGHTER. 4. GOD THEY'RE PRICEY. 5. ON THE PLUS SIDE, AFTER 3 WEEKS OF USE, THEY DO NOT SMELL FUNKY. 6. THESE GLOVES ARE SO SOFT. NO BREAK IN TIME REQUIRED. The customer service from Rival I found to be quite helpful, and if you check out their site Russ has quite a few video clips that address boxing basics. If your not sure what type or weight of glove you want just give them a call and they will hook you up. This review is from: Rival Ultra Bag Gloves (Sports) So after a few days of using the gloves it feels great! It does not feel like a 14 oz glove (could be a little lite for me) yet its made really sturdy, holds up well, and can dish it out to the bag. This is my second pair from Rival and do admit I enjoy the gloves. Plus the style, color, and design work well. The one thing I am not too keen on is the long strap that is used to hold the gloves down. Wish the the strap was smaller and not so long. As long as Rival makes gloves I will still buy them. Overall I am happy with them. Side note if you do boxing/kickboxing on a regular basis you should look into Rival products.
